A.Hands of Hope is a Northeast Ohio network of over 30 organizations that promotes a culture of life which values, supports and sustains the life and health of all human beings in our community.
B.The community alliance began in November 2002 as a vision held by select network organizations in Northeast Ohio.
1.From here, the creation of Hands of Hope began.
2.We learned quickly that although we shared core beliefs and values, we did not know each other.
3.We realized the tremendous opportunity we had discovered in developing a network to connect our organizations.
4.We all service clients differently & no one organization meets every client’s needs. The knowledge of other organizations as well as having a personal contact with them is invaluable to servicing the Northeast Ohio community.
C.The Hands of Hope Network has continued to strengthen and grow throughout the past 3 ½ years.
II.What do we do?
A.We conduct quarterly workshops with network organizations to accomplish 3 goals.
1.To expand, through collaboration, the traditional boundaries of each organization
2.To strengthen the community niche each group fills
3.To align the efforts of all organizations.

A.Offering ongoing development seminars for agencies in the network
B.Establishing a speaker’s bureau
C.Creating a Member Directory with details of services offered by participating members
D.Sponsoring joint events such as the Hands of Hope Conference
